Description:
The Pressure and Temperature Safety Valve is used to keep pressure and temperature within safe operating limits. This valve protects the system against overpressure and overheating, helping prevent damage and accidents. It can be used to regulate pressure in pressurized solar panels, gas-fired water heaters, electric water heaters, heat-pump water heaters, fossil-fuel water heaters, and other types of water heaters. Installation method The Pressure Safety Valve must be installed at the top of the heat exchanger: the temperature sensor must be immersed in the water at less than 150 mm from the top of the exchanger. Safety and maintenance measures After installation, users of the heat exchanger must lift the valve handle at least once a year to check that the valve operates correctly. Before this operation, make sure the valve is connected to the drainage system. If the handle is lifted and no water flows, the valve is faulty and must be replaced immediately.
