Description:
This type of screw is used to fasten metal sheets to a wooden roof frame. It is manufactured by plastic deformation from C1022 steel, white zinc-plated, and equipped with a steel washer and EPDM rubber to prevent water ingress. The head is hexagonal 8 mm for the best possible grip with dedicated wrenches.
The screw has a coarse wood thread and a reduced self-drilling tip capable of making holes in thin sheets, so the fastening operation does not require pre-drilling and does not damage the wood, allowing the screw to be fully seated.
The maximum thickness of the used sheets/profiles is 3 mm, and the maximum driving torque is 6.5 Nm
