Axe with Wooden Handle EvoTools +Plus®

This type of axe is designed for splitting logs or trunk remnants.
The metal head is made from high-quality carbon steel #55, heat-treated (hardening+tempering) over a section of 1/3 from the edge toward the eye, for much greater wear resistance.
For increased safety during use, the handle is fixed in the head with two wedges: a wooden one that forces the handle wood toward the sides, and a second, cylindrical metal wedge pressed over the first and the handle wood to secure them.
With low weight but a long handle, the material can be processed with a single strike using inertia.
The handle is made of hardwood, treated and coated with a clear lacquer, resistant both to impact loads and to moisture.
