Do not exceed the maximum load the ladder can support. Do not reduce the ladder’s inclination angle (to reach greater heights) without additional safety measures. Do not use improvisations to access higher levels with the ladder. Do not stand on the top 3 rungs when the ladder is leaning. Do not stand on the top 2 rungs without using a standing platform or guardrail. Do not stand on the top 4 rungs when the ladder is fully extended. Use the ladder only for light and short‑duration tasks. Set the ladder in the correct position. Lock the safety device (if present). Place the ladder on a flat, stable surface and do not lean it against fragile or slippery surfaces. Do not touch or rest the ladder on live electrical cables
