Description:
Auto-Darkening Welding Protection Mask with Optoelectronic Filter and Headgear EvoTools® offers professional protection and comfort during work, being equipped with an auto filter with optical class 1/1/1/2 for clear and uniform visibility.
“Optical class 1/1/1/2” is a very important technical specification for auto-darkening welding masks (ADF – Auto Darkening Filter). It indicates the image quality and filter accuracy according to the European standard EN 379.
The standard evaluates the filter by 4 criteria, each rated from 1 (best quality) to 3 (worst):
1 Optical class (first digit) – image clarity, i.e., how clean and distortion-free the view through the visor is.
2 Diffusion of light (second digit) – how much light scatters through the filter; a score of 1 means a clear image without “fog.”
3 Variation in luminous transmittance (third digit) – uniformity of darkening across the entire filter surface (no lighter or darker areas).
4 Angle dependence of luminous transmittance (fourth digit) – how consistent the shade remains when looking from different angles.
Thus, 1/1/1/2 means a mask with very good optical quality, with a clear and uniform image, but with a slight variation in shade when viewed from a certain angle — almost imperceptible in practice.
The viewing area of 90x35 mm ensures good visibility of the work area, and the quick transition between the light state (DIN3) and the dark state (DIN11) occurs in just 1/15000 seconds.
It operates automatically, powered by solar cells and a replaceable CR2032 battery, offering long-term reliability. UV/IR protection is level 16, ensuring complete safety for eyes and face. It features 2 arc sensors for precise reaction and auto-darkening, with adjustable delay time between 0,25 and 0,65 seconds.
Ideal for MIG, TIG, MMA welding or similar applications, this mask combines safety, comfort and performance in a compact, lightweight design (110x90x9 mm).
