Connectors for underground sprinklers are used when the preassembled flexible risers for sprinklers (e.g. 682576) do not provide the distance needed to connect to the system’s PEHD mainline. This can happen when the mainline does not run directly under the sprinkler line.
They are installed on the PEHD mainline using a PEHD tee or a PEHD saddle clamp.
To connect it to the sprinkler, you also need LDPE flexible tubing and another connector to fix it into the sprinkler.
