As its name suggests, this sprinkler is installed underground in an irrigation system, and watering is achieved using the internal impact sprinkler.
It pops up under direct water pressure, and the throw radius can be between 9.5 and 13 m, depending on the pressure.
Connection to the PEHD mainline can be made using elbows and flexible risers for underground sprinklers, with 3/4 external thread, and saddle clamps with internal thread.
The watering arc can be adjusted with the metal tabs, from a full circle 360 degrees (raise completely the stop rod between the two tabs) or between 20 and 340 degrees.
An advantage of these sprinklers is that they can irrigate with water containing more impurities, unlike fine-nozzle models which can clog more often if the water is not clean.
