It can be connected to the mains water where higher pressures exist, since it also acts as a pressure regulator; however, fully opening the tap is not recommended when using drip tape. It cannot be used with a classic setup with an elevated tank. It can be used for irrigation with domestic water pressure booster sets or with pumps and motor pumps.
Cleaning is very simple: unscrew the filter, remove the cartridge, twist to increase the distance between the discs, then shake it in a bucket of water — the cartridge is like new.
Service life is significantly longer than that of the classic screen filter.
