The BC 517 EvoTools +Plus® brushcutter is intended for mowing grass areas and trimming the lawn in the yard, garden or orchard. It is equipped with a powerful 2‑stroke engine running on a gasoline–oil mixture that delivers 2.2 hp and has a displacement of 51.6 cc. For cutting, you can use either the nylon line or the metal blade.
Other features:
• Maximum cutting diameter is 255 mm with the 3‑tooth blade and 460 mm with the nylon cutting head.
• The tank capacity is 1000 ml (1.0 L).
• Fuel mix ratio: 40 mL 2T oil to 1 L gasoline.
• Recommended oil: HGT® 2T (or equivalent, as specified in the manual).
• Shaft diameter: 28 mm.
