The electronic pressure switch (presscontrol) is a new-concept device that guarantees protection and optimal control of domestic pumps. Based on hydraulic design and electronic logic, the presscontrol simultaneously detects pressure and flow and automatically manages pump operation.
It completely replaces the traditional, complex pump control system consisting of expansion vessel, pressure gauge, pressure switch, valve, etc., protecting the pump in case of water shortage.
The integrated buffer vessel absorbs pressure differences caused by small water losses in the system.
Much more compact than traditional systems, robust and lightweight.
Operation:
1. The Presscontrol indicates that the pump is powered when the green light is on.
2. When the pump starts working, the yellow light turns on. The pump will continue to run for a few minutes to allow the system to fill the pipes and reach the required pressure.
3. If this interval is insufficient, the red light will turn on. In this case, leave a tap open and keep the Restart button pressed until the red light goes out. From that moment, even if the tap is closed, the pressure switch will keep the pump at maximum pressure.
4. When lack of water is detected, the presscontrol stops the pump after ~ 3 minutes and 20 seconds and will not restart it even if the water source is restored.
5. Restart is done by resetting with the “+” button
